Η Εικονική Κοινότητα Δοκιμασίας αποτελείται από ενδιαφερόμενους που δραστηριοποιούνται στον τομέα του δέρματος και των συναφών ειδών και στοχεύει στην ανταλλαγή πληροφοριών, γνώσης και εμπειριών. Θα χρησιμεύσει επίσης ως πλατφόρμα για τον διαγωνισμό καινοτόμων προϊόντων δέρματος που θα οδηγήσει, στο τέλος του έργου, στην έναρξη μιας εκστρατείας χρηματοδότησης crowdfunding για τους νικητές του διαγωνισμού για τα πιο καινοτόμα προϊόντα δέρματος. Επιπλέον, η εικονική κοινότητα θα φιλοξενήσει ένα Δεκάλογο οφελών που απορρέουν από τη συνεργασία μεταξύ επιχειρήσεων, κέντρων έρευνας και κατάρτισης στην ανάπτυξη καινοτόμων προϊόντων δέρματος.
